NUTRITION SERVICE

Considering the health and welfare of the admitted children, Diet services to inpatients was started from April 2006.  Hygienically prepared quality, tasty, nutritious food and beverages is given according to the diagnosis/treatment at nominal cost, under the supervision of experienced and qualified Dieticians which receives appreciation from the parents and patients.

    Therapeutic and normal diet which suits infants and babies are provided from Nutrition department. Beverages like milk and porridge  are also given to inpatients.  Children’s dietary intake is assessed by professionally qualified and well experienced Dieticians so that they can identify and do changes in diet required.

   Individualized nutritional counseling is provided to all inpatients. Outpatients referred by the Pediatricians and Visiting Consultants are also  counselled regarding nutrition, calories to be taken, foods to be included and avoided
