ENT SURGERY
The department of Paediatric ENT Surgery is a tertiary care referral center for all pediatric ENT ailments. Covered by both, in-house and visiting ENT consultants we are fully equipped to handle the entire spectrum of ENT disorders in children.
The unit specializes in diagnosing and treating all levels of airway disorders in neonates, infants and children up to 18 years. We offer state of the art endoscopic and open surgical management (simple and complex) for all airway conditions including laryngomalacia, laryngeal web, Vocal cord palsy, Subglottic stenosis, tracheal stenosis, laryngotracheoesophageal cleft , intubation related injuries and other rare airway conditions.
We treat Obstructive Sleep apnea due to adenotonsillar hypertrophy and other causes. We are equipped to handle all ENT and emergencies including conditions like stridor, foreign bodies in the airway and œsophages, nose bleeds, retropharyngeal abscess etc. Fully equipped with all types of endoscopes ( flexible and rigid endoscopes).
We offer diagnosis and treatment of all swallowing problems, drooling and aspiration.
We evaluate and offer inter departmental management for speech delay and hearing loss.
We also routinely manage all conditions of the ear, nose and throat in the pediatric population.
