Building better societies by building oneself

Freemasonry is one of the oldest social organizations in the world that is founded on the principles of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth. The organization distinguishes itself through its charitable work that contributes to the betterment of the society.

Freemasonry’s teachings dwell on our duty to God, to our country, to our neighbours, and to ourselves. It’s guiding principle of how to lead a life and a way of life in itself. In Coimbatore, many noble people have been a part of Freemasonry and have contributed significantly to charitable work.

It was the good intent of the Freemasons of Coimbatore to undertake a need-based charity that resulted in the founding of Masonic Medical Centre for Children.

Coimbatore Masonic Charity Trust was founded by
Cav. Dr. G. K. Devarajulu with 15 life Trustees in 1978. To serve to the cause of child care, a property of land measuring about 2 acres with a big building was bought in the year 1978. The original building was renovated and used for outpatient care. Since the formation, the Trust has committed to serve for the well-being of children.
